The Bently Nevada 3500 system is currently widely used in large units and is also the most advanced TSI system of Bently Nevada. During use, the Bently Nevada 3500 series instruments provide a lot of convenience for debugging and use with its laboratory-level accuracy, flexibility in configuration adjustment, replaceability of modules, preamplifiers, and probes, and adjustable functions for slight deviations after installation. The system has the following main technical features:
(1) The unit has a modular structure and is installed in a standard frame. It mainly includes: power module, interface module, key phase module, monitoring module, communication module, etc.
(2) Each functional module has a single-chip microcontroller (MCU) to realize the intelligent functions of each module, such as configuration settings, self-diagnosis, signal testing, alarm protection output, data communication, etc.
(3) Data communication between modules is carried out through RS232/RS422/RS485 bus and MODBUS protocol, with a maximum communication rate of 115.2kbps.
(4) Each module can be configured and set through the configuration software of the host computer and downloaded to the non-volatile memory of each module.
(5) Dual redundant power supply module.
(6) Support live plug-in function.
The Bently Nevada 3500 system is different from the Bently Nevada 3300 system. It has no panel display. Its measurement display is displayed by the host computer or directly triggers the relay module output. Most of the internal settings are completed in the software. The Bently Nevada 3500 system has multiple communication methods. During the debugging process, the RS232 communication interface provided by Bently can be used to directly connect to the DCS system, and the configuration and parameter display can be performed at the DCS operator station. In addition, parameters such as relative vibration, shaft displacement, and expansion difference are sent to the DEH system for display through 4~20mA signals.
